by God\u2019s lavish, unearned love, favour and forgiveness towards us.<\/em><\/p>\n

This profound grace delivers us from unhealthy striving, competition and condemnation of ourselves<\/em><\/p>\n

or judgment of others.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

INTO THE PRESENCE OF GOD<\/p>\n

Trust in God at all times, people. Pour out your hearts to the Holy One.
\nFor God alone my soul waits in silence. <\/strong>
\nSilence<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lord, we cannot find you in time past or time future;
\nOnly in this present moment.
\nThe now is all that we have.
\nIt is a sacrament, a sign of inward grace.
\nIt is only in this moment that we can come close to you.[1]<\/a><\/p>\n

How long O Lord? Long enough, God \u2013 you\u2019ve ignored me long \"IMG_0082\"enough. I\u2019ve looked at the back of your head long enough. Long enough I\u2019ve carried a ton of trouble, lived with a stomach full of pain.
\nBlessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy<\/strong><\/p>\n

How long O Lord? Long enough my arrogant enemies have looked down their noses at me. Take a good look at me God, my God; I want to look life in the eye.
\nBlessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve thrown myself headlong into your arms \u2013 I\u2019m celebrating your rescue. I\u2019m singing at the top of my lungs, I\u2019m so full of answered prayers.

\"ManaliYou serve a six course dinner right in front of my enemies. You revive my drooping head; my cup brims with blessing. Your beauty and love chase after me every day of my life. I\u2019m back home in the house of God for the rest of my life.

In looking upon you, O Christ,
\nmay I see myself more truly in my need

Jesus our healer and brother,
\nYour clear eyes pierced all deceit and hypocrisy
\nBut never hardened in condemnation.
\nYou shocked the proud and self-righteous
\nWith your reckless forgiveness of sins.
\nYour grace is a quiet revolution within and among us,
\nCurse-lifting, history changing.<\/p>\n

Live in our hearts and our eyes, Jesus.<\/strong>
\nShow us this cracked and fragile world<\/strong>
\nIn the generous light of your gaze.<\/strong>
\nGive us patience with all that resists or frustrates us,<\/strong>
